Hampi on in the border of Tungsbhadra River near to Hospet It is in south India. It is a great historical place name in the world.
Foreign local resources divided as two at hampi on the border of river. Hills surrounded the hampi looking for better place.
Saint Vidyaranya established the seat of Vijayanagara Empire in 1336 A.D, with the help of his devotee disciples Hakka and Bukka. The empire later became famous for its support towards renovation/reconstruction of temples through out India. (…)

Less than forty years ago, tourism was encouraged as an unquestionable good. With the arrival of package holidays and charter flights, tourism could at last be enjoyed by the masses. Yet one day, it seems feasible that there will be no more tourists. There will be ‘adventurers’, ‘fieldwork assistants’, ‘volunteers’ and, of course, ‘travellers’. The high mountains of Colorado still had a lot of snow in mid June. In fact, the Arkansas river was close to flooding here in Canon City, despite there being no rain in weeks. The snow melt was enough to raise it to its highest level in years. But my friend Mike and I were still hoping to go backpacking up high.
We had been up to 9,000 feet a couple weeks earlier and saw just one snowbank in the woods. (…)
